Frank..I just moved from D.C.(Fairfax County ) to here in Chesapeake. I totally agree with your opinion/fact. The C.O.L. is high and the PPL can be a bit full of themselves. It seemed that everytime I would meet someone the first priority would be to find out what my Religious views were or what party I vote under. And being a military family it’s always enjoyable to be questioned about your feelings about the Iraq war. With all being said, I have to admit I really enjoyed all the Museums, memorials, & such. My kid’s learned so much about American History just being there and being able to see things ‘in person’ vs a textbook. I also lived in N.C….unfortunately it was Jacksonville. Ugh! But I do love N.C. (even Charlotte)
