ally,

it's not true that a child can only inherit the color of their eyes from their parents. if two brown eyed parents have the recessive gene for light colored eyes then a child could, in fact, have light eyes rather than brown. for example, both of my parents have brown eyes and are brunette (all of my dad's siblings have either blue or green eyes and are brunette and i think my mom's are a mixture of brown and blue and two were born blonde, three - inlcuding her- brunette) but my brother was born with hazel eyes (they usually look blue) and blonde hair. his hair darkend over time. it's all about the mixture of dominant and recessive genes not this-goes-here and that-goes-there which determins how a person looks.

i know i'm late on the bandwagon here but i had to say something.

Yknow, I actually don't mind Tom Cruise (apart from Scientology. That's bull) ...but this does explain a lot...

I suppose if you want to know who the parents are, look at the colour of her eyes, because you can only inherit that from the mother and father. Suri's look dark blue on the magazine cover, whereas Tom and Kate both have brown eyes. This could have easily been edited by the photographers, just like airbrushing, to make the baby look "cuter" or whatever, but you never know...

Sighs:: Ultimately most people are stupid, judgmental, and fundamentally ignorant. This can be proven just by looking at history. All we've accomplished in truth is finding more effective ways of killing ourselves, destroying the enviornment and wasting time on the trivial.

I admire Tom's ability as an actor. I think his marriage to Katie is a sham. I don't understand how she could believe in Christianity for so many years, and then pledge herself to her husbands religion so readily. This should suggest to anyone a fickle nature or character flaw. This is not a judgment, merely an observation. If the situation were applied to terms of loyalty to a company it would be viewed the same way.

I also don't agree with bashing the Muslims. There are many of their religion that are pacifist and they can no more be held accountable for the actions of a few radicals as all Christians can be held accountable for the Catholic priest that raped children, the crusaders who wiped out the Egyptians, or than all white americans can be held accountable for slavery, or all black americans for the surge in drug related crimes. Generalizations, and the people who make them are the cause of much of the strife and suffering in the world, and inevitably lead to tragedies like 911.

As for the topic at hand. Everyone is free to express there opinions, as I said I like Tom's work, I felt his performance in the Last Samurai for example was nothing short of epic and I enjoyed the movie and what he brought to it very much.

I also have enjoyed Katie's earlier work, and own all 6 seasons of Dawson's Creek, and a few of the movies she has starred in like Disturbing behavior. However no one can deny that since her involvement with Tom she's been made into an industry joke. One cannot also over look the fact that she turned down a 1-2 million dollar film, to be in a film that cannot offer her more than .25 million, and has little hope of advancing her career.
In addition the Batman role was one she had previously agreed to reprise if the opportunity came up, despite the reviews of several critics less than happy than her performance.

Love and hate are very trivial and interchangable things. Logic endures and is open to idea of new revelations and insights, re-affirming ideas, or putting them aside as more evidence is brought into play. Love and hate are very inflexible in this regard. Which is why the eastern religions avoid the concepts of embracing Love/Hate as the answer to anything, and instead focus on the concepts of balance, respectfulness, and integrity.

While no one can rightfully deny the talents of TomKat, it is reasonable to question their decisions, and even the facts or truths of their relationship. Why? Because as human beings we can only draw conclusions about things by comparison. Meaning we have no choice but to draw conclusion about others, and their lives, in order to make sense of our own, it is the reason that we crave interaction despite the inevitability of conflict.

The post on this site are a prime example. People using each other as sounding boards, or in some cases scratching post, to further affirm their beliefs and views.

As you can see some people make things more personal than others, and some people can only see one or two sides of the issue, when their are as many vantage points to a subject, as there are people in the world. My suggestion to everyone is not to draw conclusions from an emotional perspective and to try to be considerate of others, as one would hope we are all taught as children, it is possible as adults that we disagree, but that is no reason for a lack of civility.

I will end with that thought as I have begun into a lecture unintentionally and I am probably being boring or maudlin at this point, as well as overly wordy. I will now retire and pop in season two of Dawson's Creek and remember happier days.

simsim,

First off where do you get off saying,"Christians don’t know anything about their religion anyway" How dare you. Didn't thousands of American citizens die because of your god. Infact 2996 people died because of your god allah. As I recall they were all on a suicide mission and were ready to die for allah. So please don't ever mention your god to me again. I was fortunate to not have lost anyone in 9/11 but my heart still aches for the family and friends of all those lost.

Secondly yes adultry only applies to marriage look it up in dictionary.com. Adultry has nothing to do with the boyfriend/girlfriend "types"

Thirdly you think that we are living in hell here on earth. Well I would have to disagree with you again. I love my life I love everything about it even the bad. I think it is a blessing to even be alive and experience this. If you are not so happy then maybe you should go on some medication. It might help

NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, It's ironic that you lecture Shadow Girl for being nasty and then label people with clinical depression as a fucking nut job. Maybe you should take your own advice instead of being a hypocrite.
